I second Jonathan's endorsement--though for their Head of the Charles camp in the summer. I did it a few years ago and even though the focus is on the HOCR course, what they're teaching is completely applicable to non-racing too.?

All-American Rowing?is Ready for 2021!

Greetings to All of our Rowing Friends Near and Far!!
? Wow, what a start to 2021?! Hard to believe that it is nearly May!? Jim and Mark have been going non stop since mid December and we have seen many of you in Florida over the winter camp season!? Now it is summer and we are pretty well booked up from May 1 to the first of August.? THANK YOU!!? We do want to let you know about a few great options for you and your friends.

1.? If you or your club want to have our coaches come to you, please call or email Mark as soon as possible to arrange a camp at your location.? There are a few dates left...

2.? We are excited to be offering not one but two Head of the Charles camps in Boston this summer.? One is August 24-26 and the second is September 27-29.? These camps are designed to be race prep camps but are open to anyone wishing to row in Boston.? Technical advise for competition at any head race will be given with specifics to the Head of the Charles.? Spots are filling fast so if you want to join the fun do not hesitate.

3.? The first week of October (1-6) will see a group of fortunate scullers heading to Aviz Portugal for an amazing week of sculling, dining, wining (NO whining) and exploring this fantastic country and rowing location.? Do Not hesitate to reach out and reserve your spot.

4. Coastal and Gig Rowing expands- We are going to be offering coastal specific camps in Florida during the winter 2022 season and also have a small camp planned for July 20-22ish for some fun on the upper Mississippi River in southern Wisconsin, details are still being developed but if you are interested in some point to point rowing in a Gig 4x or Coastal single on the Mighty Miss, just let Mark?know, It will be a BLAST for sure!!

Lastly, we are always expanding our private camp sessions in Florida for those with small to medium groups that want to visit us in the warmth of the Florida sun in January, Feb, March 2022.? Please consider scheduling early.

Camp Schedule is listed on the website and here at this link,? ? If
?
We send our best to you and please share this email with anyone that enjoys "messingaboutinboats!"

Thank you

Vespoli Demo

Mike Ippolito

Hi fellow YRC members,

Charles Huthmaker from Vespoli is going to bring a Midweight VHP175 or SD175 for me in mid May. If anyone is interested in taking it out please?let me know. I'll announce again when we get closer to the date.

Equipment committee, will we have a place to store it for 3 days if he leaves it?

He's happy to bring other sizes / configurations if anyone else wants to demo too.?
