Double is Now Re Rigged.... BUT...!

Yankee Rowing Members who row the Fluid Design Double:
??

? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?I repaired the crack at the bow of the Splashguard. You will find silver ink around the area, keep an eye on it and let me know if you see Any cracking or damage
developing further. All the wheels on Both seats were bad. Since I don't row the double, I never would have known except a member who helped me put it in the sling today and happened to check the slides. The wheels are a composite material which fit tightly onto a bearing inside. Those wheels and bearing were separated, meaning that years of wear had them wobbling back and forth on the track. One slide had developed a razor sharp edge towards it's outside. I rounded that over with emory cloth so it is safe now.? It's hard to imagine someone didn't notice this before but to reiterate: If you see anything wrong, or feel anything out of the ordinary, please let me know ASAP.?
? ? ? ? ? ? ? In addition, please keep to our singles routine even with the double. Wash it, dry it, and WIPE out the Tracks with a small rag, and check the running gear to make sure nothing is jamming or out of alignment. You won't have to worry about the cover for the rest of the season. The zipper head is broken and we are having it repaired. So for now, you don't have to worry about the cover. Please use some kind of cloth between the hull and the cam levers on the? yellow straps, so you don't scratch the hull when strapping it down.
? ? ? ? ? ? ?One last item. We have a "no fault" policy at YRC which has worked very well. If you break something, or you see that something needs fixing, let me or Ernie, Bob Sproul, or someone on the BOD know so that it can be fixed promptly. Most of our equipment is in pretty decent shape, which saves us from having to replace boats frequently. This means we can spend on money on boats and oars, and not repairs.?
