Update from Andy Fisk on CT River fish

I was in touch with Andy on another matter this week and asked him about the fish in the river this year, specifically shad. Here is his reply: ? The shad run was not so great this year.? It was only 190K this year, which is about 140K off the long term average.? Last year wasn¡¯t so hot either, but that may have been due to wet weather, turbidity and cold temps so most of the shad stayed below Holyoke. ?
