¿ªÔÆÌåÓýRecently, Andy Larkin has exhibited erratic and at times distressing behavior at the boathouse and in emails to club members.? His family and friends are aware of the situation, are tracking it, and are urging him to seek professional help. Reluctantly, I am informing the club of these behaviors.? My own approach is not to criticize Andy, not even to respond to him, because I sense that will simply fuel and extend an unpleasant interaction. So far, Andy's behaviors have not threatened the safety of any club member. But his trajectory may be unpredictable. Please allow Andy a measure of privacy about this matter.? Please do not use the club email list for open discussion.? However, a broadcast to the entire club may be appropriate if you sense an immediate danger.? If you wish to suggest any action by the club, please send email to me and I will consult with the Board. Andy is a long and stalwart fixture of our club, and a major contributor.?
