Re: i think i am missing something
Check and see how much you are receiving in the Direwolf console window (where it logs every received and transmitted packet) (or in journalctl if you are running Direwolf as a service). It's amazing

Re: Possible Bug Importing Objects
Not a big deal and I totally understand fixing one thing and breaking another. When you have time, can you reach out to me in a private message? mycall at arrl Thanks, KM4ACK

Re: Possible Bug Importing Objects
It's a recent bug, but it's not an import bug; you can View->Local Objects and see the import succeeded. The problem is, because there are no _received_ packets for these Objects, they are considered

Re: Strange error message after antenna fell down
There is a bug in YAAC in the following combination of settings: 1. The beacon is using COMPRESSED mode encoding and is configured to send station speed. 2. The station has a working GPS connected to

Re: Strange error message after antenna fell down
That's kind of strange. Could you privately email me your YAAC configuration (export it by File->Configure->Export to File)? It appears that there may be something broken with compressed-mode position

Re: Strange error message after antenna fell down
I realized after hitting send I did not summarize the issue very well. As you can see in the message Direwolf is reporting a 'nul' character found in the information part. I am trying to figure out

Strange error message after antenna fell down
While I don't think that my antenna follwing down caused this but I did notice it after. I am currently running YAAC beta 207(1-feb-2025)on a pi4 using digipi as a sound card and Direwolf version

Re: Many different symbols on OpenStreetMap - very cluttered
Also note that the suppression of these OSM Node and Way types is per YAAC profile (if you are using profiles), and it does not take the data out of the map files (it just stops rendering those

Re: Many different symbols on OpenStreetMap - very cluttered
The cure is easy. Go to View->Layers->Select Geographical Map Layers. On the POI tab, uncheck the categories or individual types you don't want or need to see; for example, you may not care about the

Many different symbols on OpenStreetMap - very cluttered
Hi Andrew - This has been the case for some time now, but OpenStreetMap now displays many symbols that are a visual nuisance. See this screen capture: These symbols are in the YAAC>images folder.

Re: Im thinking there might be an easier way ....
If you installed the Oracle commercial JRE or JDK on Windows, then all you should to do is use File Explorer to view the directory into which you unzipped the YAAC.zip distribution file (you can't run

Hello. I've been a longtime Linux user and have used YAAC for quite a while now under Linux. I have just purchased a Microsoft Surface Pro 3. I admit to not knowing anything about Windows since

Re: sound plugin missing.
I just published new builds of core YAAC (1.0beta209) and the sounds plugin (1.2.4) yesterday evening. Try upgrading and see if the problems go away. I did notice from studying your configuration
