Ah, because most of them aren't licensed amateur radio stations legally authorized to transmit their weather data on the radio? :-) aprs.fi has data feeds from more than just the APRS-IS backbone.

Hmmm... that's odd. I presume you are using the Serial_TNC port type to communicate with your PK88. It sounds like the PK88 is upset that it is not getting proper modem control signals for hardware
