broken beaconing
Greetings, all.
Yes, it appears that automatic beaconing was broken by my attempt to not overflow antique hardware TNCs. I am working on a fix now.
Please hold off on upgrading until I get build

Re: Timed beacon not working beta152
Fast beaconing is the initial rate, as in "go fast when you first get on the air, and slow down if you're not changing anything."
Hmmm... this sounds odd. Could you privately email me the export of

Re: Timed beacon not working beta152
I can't find a setting called "fast" beacon, but my initial repeat rate is 60 and stable slow repeat rate is 1800. Smart beaconing is disabled.? If I have missed some setting please tell me what page

Re: Timed beacon not working beta152
What is the fast time for your beacon? A recent feature allowed setting fast to 0, which means don't _ever_ auto-beacon. This was intended for places where automatic station control is prohibited (for

YAAC and Sat gates
I'm trying to set up a Sgate in my regional area 160km south of the big smoke.
I'm using a RPi, a RTL-SDR, and direwolf. It works as an Igate.
What's the difference between an I gate and a S gate?

Re: What can you add to APRS?
Somehow I missed this over the past few weeks, but it's a great question.? APRS has traditionally been a network of "push" information...the assumption has always been that the digipeater sysops know

For what it's worth, I have a Raspberry Pi-3B in my car, running

Re: YAAC Map
The "Refresh all existing map tiles" checkbox says to only updates tiles that you have downloaded before. Since you don't have any previous tile files, there are none to be updated.
Uncheck that box,
