You can send me that stack trace (which should also be in your YAAC.out file in your log directory), and I can figure out why you had the problem.
Just out of curiosity, when exactly did you try to download the tiles? I was doing an upgrade on my server yesterday, so it might have been down at the time you tried to download the tiles. You might try it again now and see if there are still difficulties.

It has been a long time since I used yaac and recently opened it on my Toshiba net book running Windows 7 basic. After reloading a newer version and configuring now I get "Java exception trying to download tiles" followed in the error box with lots of what appears to be program references.
what can I do now?
