Just went to the group, and re-read the thread.?? Other salient points noted now.
I guess the multiple formats in the data from the Yaesu, it defaults to Japanese practices, with others as a user choice.
Is that selectable remotely I wonder?? If so, perhaps a command sent to ensure the radio sends to the software in a consistent format?
