¿ªÔÆÌåÓýSo the files need to come out of the folder they get unzipped to??
Also I believe the names of the files are slightly different, ending in 25 before the extension, does that matter?? I will try this later today if I need to move the field from YAAC/tiledir/mz30** to just have the files themselves in the YAAC/tiledir?

Mike,
If you have downloaded and unzipped the NWS files correctly, these 12 files should be in the tiledir (along with any other ones you have separately downloaded for OpenStreetMap or USGS terrain data): c_10nv20.dbf c_10nv20.prj c_10nv20.shp c_10nv20.shx mz30mr21.dbf mz30mr21.prj mz30mr21.shp mz30mr21.shx z_08se21.dbf z_08se21.prj z_08se21.shp z_08se21.shx The first 4 are the U.S. county files (not the county warning areas), the next 4 are the coastal and marine zones, and the last 4 are the public forecast zones. I will be updating YAAC's built-in help files to more precisely identify the data sets to download from the US NWS website. Hope this helps. I am trying to get the shape files for NWS alerts installed but every time I try to view severe alerts I get a "There are no DBF files containing forecast zone definitions. Download them and unzip into your YAAC tiledir" I have downloaded and unzipped the zone, warning area, and coastal shape files and extracted them all into the tiledir file folder and there error persists. What did I miss. Thanks, Mike NZ4K Sent via the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5, an AT&T 5G smartphone Sent via the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5, an AT&T 5G smartphone <> |
