Greetings.
That's an interesting question. At the present time, YAAC only reads the tracks from a GPX file (both for the Drawing layer in core YAAC and for routes in the Dynamic Objects plugin), so the waypoints in the file you provided would be ignored.
I could probably add code to read the waypoints and turn them into Private-scope local Objects on the map. Let me look into it and get back to you.

Should Point of Interest in a GPX file show up on the map or just the track section of the file? I can only seem to get the tracks to show up not the included POI. Maybe there is a switch I have missed.
