Can't use a UPS on generator. Generator power fluctuates too much so UPS doesn't accept it as good commercial power, so you only run on the UPS battery until it runs down, which is rather quickly. Computer is a Quadra (RaspberryPi similar) and don't have a handy battery infrastructure available for everything.
