I noticed the PBBS help files, but I did not install the PBBS plugin. I tried reinstalling the bikestats plugin. When I closed and reopened the Install Plugin window, it does not show the bikestats plugin as installed. However, looking at About YAAC, it now shows the bikestats twice along with the Samples plugin.
I'm getting more confused by the minute.

Looks like Bikestats' help files weren't set up correctly. Note that you have the PBBS plugin's help files visible in your screenshot.
I will see about fixing Bikestats' help and releasing a new build of that plugin.

Not having much luck with this.
I have the bikestats plugin installed. First problem, I see no
Appendices for plugins in the Table of Contents. See picture.
In the Stations/Objects list, I see that I can edit individual stations,
but I don't see anything in the edit window to add columns. Nor do I see
anything to add columns to the overall Stations/Objects list.
Please forgive my inability to understand this.
Thanks for your help.

The Bikestats plugin is a way to attach operator-entered data to a station.
For example, let's assume one of your viewed stations is the tracker installed in a SAG (Support And Gear) vehicle. The bikestats plugin would allow you to add extra columns to the Station/Object List table view so you could enter "number of riders" and "number of bikes" for each SAG station, so you could keep track of how loaded a SAG was. "SAG1 already has 5 riders and bikes on board, and SAG2 has nobody, so let's send SAG2 to pick up the next flat-tire call."
The plugin provides the means to define the extra columns on the table view, with column headings and data types (numeric, text string, or enumeration of value [like the Mic-E status codes]). Then you just type in the new columns of the table view to update that status information for that station. You could do it for APRS Objects too, i.e., "Rest Stop 3 only has 2 cases of water bottles left."
For built-in help, go to Help->Contents, and scroll past all the manual sections for core YAAC and look in the Appendices for the installed plugins. Most plugins have help files that get merged into the Help table of contents and Help index.
Hope that helps.

I see a plugin labeled bikestats. The description says "supplemental
notation columns for objects for supporting public service event
operations". I can find no documentation on this about what it is
exactly or how to use it.
Help??
