I have a feeling this is more of a user issue than anything, but I can¡¯t for the life of me figure out how to give a station a temporary name such as you would for public service events.
my goal is to take a station such as ¡°Ki5NON-4¡± and name it something like ¡°SAG 3¡± such that in the map view I see SAG 3 and there APRS icon instead of a Ki5NON-4. Ideally messaging I could also go to sag 3 and have the software translate to the necessary callsign for FCC compliance, but I¡¯ll take what I can get.?
anyone know how to do this??
