Error downloading tiles

I had to create a brand new install of YAAC today and when I tried to download pre-imported tiles for my map, I got a request to create an Earthdata account.? Is this something new, I had never seen it before?

I forgot to add that my YAAC runs on my raspberry pi 3 version 171
