Re: Kid Nepro patches - thoughts?

?Walt Whitney is also selling cheap patches on cassette and he was a great programmer back in the 80s. I've got some Chroma patches of his that are pretty good.?
?My only experience with Kid Nepro is that I bought a bunch of patches for a Yamaha TG33 many years ago. I was going through them the other day and they are not too exciting and seem to tread similar ground throughout the patches but maybe that's what you get from a TG33.
?Here's his EBay ad and yes he does misspell Xpander:

Subject: [xpantastic] Kid Nepro patches - thoughts?

Hello list,

The venerable Kid Nepro is still selling his (her?) Xpander/Matrix 12 patches via eBay[1] - 100 patches for (as little as) $20, that's just 20? per patch.

Has anyone tried these patches? Are they worth the money? I imagine pulling them apart and seeing how they work could be educational. Obviously the patches you make yourself are the best ones...

Cheers,

John :^P
