IMHO, remote control and/or software editing goes against the "experience".?Short of navigating complex modulation routings, the Xpander has a very well thought out and layed out editing system that is easy to navigate, modify parameters, and not get lost. For me a?big part?of the Xpander "experience" is editing directly?on it, the same way a guitarist enjoys the certain feel and experience?of a particular?old vintage guitar.?

While software editors do have some benefits (easy view of mod routings, random patch settings, etc), for me?it goes against one of the key points of using hardware:?having a hands-on approach to working with its powerful analog synth architecture versus point/click with a mouse or touchpad.
