I noticed that the address did not include the TAG community (the ¡°student success plan groups specifically exclude TAG) but at least it was sent to me! Re: Your Input Needed: Rulemaking for College Credit in the High School (Accelerated Learning/ORS 340) Dear Education Leaders,? ODE is inviting you to attend an engagement session concerning rulemaking for college credit in the high school (accelerated learning) in the state.?? ORS 340 BackgroundOregon Revised Statute 340 governs college credit in the high school. During the 2023 Legislative Session it was revised to eliminate redundancy and clarify expectations for college credit in the high school programs. The Oregon Department of Education will draft potential Oregon Administrative Rules governing college credit in high school.? These draft rules will be presented for consideration of adoption to the State Board of Education.?? Engagement SessionOregon Department of Education will be holding a virtual feedback session on May 9, 2024 at 1:30 PM concerning the rulemaking for ORS 340 and would value your input.
