With the FY25 Federal Budget beginning to take shape, NAGC is asking you to contact your Senators and ask them to sign the that is circulating in the U.S. Senate. The deadline to sign the letter is April 24. was recently funded at $16.5 million in the FY24 Federal Budget and is the only federal funding dedicated to gifted and talented education. Like many federally funded education programs, Javits is in danger of receiving significant cuts in next year¡¯s budget. Now is the time to act and advise your Senators to support gifted education. If your Senator(s) is interested in signing , their office can contact the following Senate staff: ¡¤???? Republican Senate Offices can contact Reid Willis in the Office of Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA). ¡¤???? Democratic and Independent Senate Offices can contact Gloria Nunez in the Office of Senator Cory Booker (D-NJ).
