The mic it came with (i bought second hand) did not function properly, only the PTT and lights worked. I swapped it out for an other Icom Mic, it also functions in this same way.

If the radio sees very high swr, it will protect it's self by not transmitting. You need to tune your antenna to be able to transmit.

Janos, This is the setup I used with N3FJP's AC Log for V 1.1.16:
In both the Read Frequency and Read Mode commands, the hex 70 is the rig's Identification number.

Janos, it doesn't use CI-V, it uses a serial COM port via USB.? I have the correct driver and everything installed, it just will not talk to the radio via the COM port it says the radio has.? The

Janos, sensitivity is just fine. ?Did not notice any changes with or without preamp in mine. ?Made a bunch of good CW QSO¡¯s on 20 this morning after the upgrade. ?Just couldn¡¯t autolog them.

STM microcontroller on the BASE board. STM uses it's own firmware. From the
Linux part you can only send a commands to the STM
