If Morse decoding is essential, you should maybe consider paying for a commercial Morse decoder.
There is also a very good Android app Morse Expert, and it's free.

I agree with Dennis. Get yourself a G90. If your concerned about the display size, Quantum SDR makes a nice display for these radios. The ATU in the radio is great and you can add the 100w amp to it

has anyone observed a relationship between operating mode (cw, ssb, digi-modes) and battery life?
I'd expect digital modes put more strain on the internal battery vs others.

I am sure the X6100 will work for you.? I had one of the original X6100 and it did have issues and eventually died and Radioddity replaced it and I see the replacement works better.? I think

Another happy owner here.? Keep in mind that the battery is only good for a couple hours depending on how you operate.? A homebrew, broadcast band filter cleaned up some problems at my home
