R1CBU-speaker
Sorry if this has been covered before.? When I plug external speaker in and switch SP mode to "Speaker" the volume drops to where it is difficult to hear stations with weakish signals even with volume at 55 and RF Gain at 100.? When I switch to "Phones" it is much louder and easier to hear though audio quality seems worse.? Could you tell me if this is working as designed and what the function of the switch is?? Thank you very much, I really prefer this GUI to stock. |
Re: New official firmware on CQXIEGU 240924001?
I would not try to install this firmware on the X6100. If you look at the tabs at the bottom of the page, you will see that this page is for the firmware of all Xiegu radios. It appears to be a catch-all page for firmware. You will see that the other firmware files have the radio at the start of the file names. I would wait until Xiegu has a file with X6100 in the file name. Better yet, wait until Radioddity has the file on their site under the X6100 pages. Re: R1CBU - FT8 - No Output
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýThanks.. For the time being I went back to 0.25.1 which seems to work OK. ? I¡¯ll give the latest a try now. ? One other thing (it may already have been fixed in 0.26.0) is that when you call CQ and someone comes back to you the X6100 automatically creates a report and sends it back to them. ? If for some reason they do not reply (say due to band conditions) the X6100 continues ¡®ad infinitum¡¯ to send them their report ¨C 30 mins later, it¡¯s still transmitting ! ¨C Can we add a timer / count (say 5 or 10 attempts) after which it drops the calling sequence? ? 73¡¯s Brian ? Re: R1CBU - FT8 - No Output
Seems I found a reason - for too high ALC or too low output power correction was calculated incorrectly. Created a fix. New release (0.26.1) should be built in a hour. https://github.com/gdyuldin/x6100_gui/releases This issue also affect 0.25.0 (first version with output auto correction for FT8), but you the first, who catch it). 73. |

Re: R1CBU - FT8 - No Output
0.26.0 uses some logic for automatically adjust output level to achieve desired power with low ALC. It might be that at first CQ your ALC was too high so output signal level was significant decreased (more, than actually required). It should recover during few CQ calls. Seems, I need to set lower boundaries for level adjustment in FT8. |
R1CBU - FT8 - No Output
I updated to 2.6 yesterday - all worked OK
?
This morning I¡¯ve tried FT8. On starting a CQ call I can see a full 5W output and good SWR. After a few seconds the output drops to zero. All other modes are working OK with full output on all bands. I¡¯ve tried booting with another 2.6 SD and I still have the problem. SWR and PSU is fine. Any ideas please ? |
Re: R1CBU -- Will it work on the x6200?
I guess, xiegu uses similar approaches for controlling the BASE board in both radios. So - it might be possible to launch the R1CBU GUI application on X6200 with some notifications. Perhaps, someone with X6200 and base knowledge of reverse engineering and c/c++ will adopt R1CBU GUI)) §Ó§ä, 22 §à§Ü§ä. 2024 §Ô., 21:30 davebb123456 via <davidbrowne76=[email protected]>:

Hi.
Actual release available on the on GitHub. Significant changes - WiFi, FTx incremental decoding and support of CQ modifiers (SOTA, POTA, etc). This version based on updated linux image and using external FTx library - so it (possible) might have some bugs. Remember to copy files from DATA partition before flashing to save all parameters, logs, messages, etc. After flashing and first boot - copy these files back to DATA. 73. Georgy // R2RFE |
