Oleg, what you said may be the clue to my previous observations. I still use 2 SD cards: your`s 0.20.1 and Georgy`s 0.23r0 - changing and comparing. I love all Georgy`s new features, especially FT8 TimeSync and waterfall preservation between switching vfo or band, but his spectrum and waterfall speed is visually slower (maybe 400 to 800 side effect?). Lowering Georgy`s `Spectrum Beta` from 70 to 40-30 makes speed similiar but not the same. Also noticed Georgy`s S meter always shows background +S1 comparing to yours.

The data flow for the spectrum is not enough for a full and high-quality zoom even for x4. I used a trick for this to somehow implement it. But this spectrum is partially "invented". If you do x8, it will be even more "invented".

It's safe. I'm going to update these values in the next release. Right now switching to USB-D on FT8/4 implemented in a different manner, and not always works as expected. But FT8/4 should also works with usual USB, except that it mix generated signal with sound from the radio microphone.

I`ve studied all 'params.db' tables, examining their values after changes made on different bands and think (maybe wrong?) I understand their relations. Also adjusted CB band freq ranges in 'bands' table to correspond my country regulations and added AM band (531-1602) with id=200 and type=1 to be able to easily switch to it for listening, what I frequently do. What do you think? I`m using sqlitebrowser on linux.

Band editor was on Oleg's backlog. It's not a first priority for me right now, but it will do almost the same you done with sqlitebrowser.

I`ve noticed (using 0.23rc0) that changing bands in FT8/4 with upper arrow keys results in USB-D switching to USB. Clicking again buttons: APP - FT8/4 restores USB-D mode view on screen but still FT8/4 spectrum has black area on right side - around 300Hz wide I think. Found some remedium in 'memory' TABLE in 'params.db' file; edit all rows with name 'vfoa_mode': change 'val' from 2 to 3 (ie USB to USB-D I guess). I want an extra AC charger for my x6100.? Does anyone have a source.? Appears to not have a listing on the Radioddity site.? An Amazon search brings up something that looks like it's for an exercise bike.

I agree with this. The gain is now as it should be - at 100% the gain is "100%" and anything less is attenuation... That is perfect behaviour and the RX is sensitive and lovely. Combined with the improved NR algorithm the audio is beautiful IMHO.

I found a problem with the CW messages. Sometimes it would play incorrectly, missing elements and being generally undecipherable. Going out and back into message play at least temporarily fixed it. CAT control in WSJT-X and JTDX works fine if you select "Xiegu X6100". Although when it is first connecting, it seems to briefly select VFO B before settling on A. Probably to see what frequency is set in VFO B.

It looks to me like power output is now being shown in the same field where received signal strength is shown when receiving.? When I key up it changes to a scale of 1 to 10 and the values shown are what I would expect to see for power output.?
