I`ve noticed (using 0.23rc0) that changing bands in FT8/4 with upper arrow keys results in USB-D switching to USB. Clicking again buttons: APP - FT8/4 restores USB-D mode view on screen but still FT8/4 spectrum has black area on right side - around 300Hz wide I think. Found some remedium in 'memory' TABLE in 'params.db' file; edit all rows with name 'vfoa_mode': change 'val' from 2 to 3 (ie USB to USB-D I guess). Now all is OK - always solid USB-D and full waterfall from left to right edge. I mean of course rows with 'id' 1xx and 2xx ONLY - related to FT8/4. I wonder if such edition is safe. I`ve studied all 'params.db' tables, examining their values after changes made on different bands and think (maybe wrong?) I understand their relations. Also adjusted CB band freq ranges in 'bands' table to correspond my country regulations and added AM band (531-1602) with id=200 and type=1 to be able to easily switch to it for listening, what I frequently do. What do you think? I`m using sqlitebrowser on linux.

By the way, I know 8x zoom in oem firmware is useless, presenting square pixels even in 4x zoom, but since you doubled spectrum resolution to 800 maybe it is time to give it a try? I must take on glassess when using 4x to tune DNF CW RTTY now - 8x zoom would be really helpfull, at least for me.
