¿ªÔÆÌåÓýHi Georgyi ...
?
.. just played one hour with FW image v0.24.0 .
Works all great , only SSB not tested because I most working CW and/or
FT8.
(Also thank you for implementing my ideas...)
Have just updated the link to v0.24.0 on my QRZ page .
Many thanks for Your impressed work ...
?
Xiegu should take that all as example for what all is possible with the
X6100 ,
but they destroy the X6100 with new original FW updates more and more ...
if I think about v.1.8.

Hi.
First of all - thanks for all, who provided a feedback of previous versions. I switched to Github actions for build an whole image. Actual release available on the on GitHub. It's a full image, not the update. ?
You can preserve your configurations and changes:
* Copy params.db from DATA partition of SD card to some place BEFORE flashing new image * Flash image
* Boot transceiver with inserted SD card, then poweroff
* Open saved params.db with any sqlite3 software (e.g. ) and execute SQL
UPDATE memory SET val = 3 WHERE name like "vfoa_mode" and (id >= 100 OR id < 300) * Insert SD card back to the computer and replace params.db on DATA partition with saved version |

I had a similar problem, using APP: V1.1.7, Base: V1.1.6.? After reading this thread and checking everything else, I re-installed the firmware, which solved the problem. |

Hello! Personally, I think that making GHA responsible for building an image is a very good move! I can¡¯t wait to give a try to new version. Thanks, 73 de Jarek SP9HGN W dniu ?r., 18.09.2024 o 17:36 Jens/HB9JOI via <hb9joi=[email protected]> napisa?(a):

Re: Corrupted DL?
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýWell, as rufus works Fine, usw. it. This Not a Problem of the x6100. I also have sometimes Problems with Balena Etcher also with other formwares, so whatVon meinem iPhone gesendet Am 16.09.2024 um 02:13 schrieb Leonard via groups.io <leonard2642@...>:

Corrupted DL?
I downloaded version 20.0, and used Balena Etcher to put the file on my SD card.? It tries to verify it, and then reports that it's corrupted.? I get the same error when I tried to install the latest factory firmware, and so I know there's probably nothing wrong with the firmware.? I used RUFUS, and that didn't have a problem moving the files over to my SD card.? Puzzling!!? Any ideas where to start?? My goals are to update everything to the latest R1CBU firmware, but since I'm having problems getting any firmware over to my SD card I figured the best approach would be to solve that problem first.? I'm starting to doubt my purchase of this radio.

Re: Wrong signals on the bound of the waterfall/spectrum.
I confirm behaviour with strong signals on edge of spectrum - mirror appears on other side. Observed several times (mostly with wide spread digital signals). It didn't bother me since it`s not the only Xiegu strong signal filtering problem I observed. In AM band (especially after sunset) I receive strong 1530 tuning to 510, strong 1593 tuning to 531 etc, ie receiving 3x freq. But `3x freq scale` is opposite: from right to left - 3x waterfall traces are moving in opposite direction then real 1x when tuning up/down.

Re: R1CBU firmware 0.23.0 Download Source
Dear OM Greg,
?
Thanks for the confirmation, and all the hard work. From one dev to another I know how much time this takes.. I wish I had more time to contribute! I burned months on the uSDX project in 2018/19 which I think was worth it, but a bit tight on time at the moment.?
?
Thank you again and I will keep a watch on the repo for updates etc. Anything I can do to help I will.

Hi Scot. rc versions was created to check building full SD card image using GitHub actions. There are no significant changes. I'm going to publish next set of changes on 0.24.0 version. Hope will be able to finish it in a week. 73, Georgy // R2RFE §ã§Ò, 14 §ã§Ö§ß§ä. 2024 §Ô., 21:12 scot forshaw via <scot.forshaw=[email protected]>:

Re: R1CBU firmware 0.23.0 Download Source
Hi Greg,
Is there some changes between ?
?
I updated a few ?weeks back from the gz tar file and its been great. Lost the thread on what's been happening, is the release section the home of new build via GitHub pipeline now Greg? I see thats at -rc.5, not sure if it's a different version or just a build number thing??
?
Thanks

Re: A.C. Charger for x6100
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýYou don¡¯t need any particular model, just one that puts out the required power and voltage. ?I actually use a little power supply when it¡¯s on my desk, so that I can run it continuously. ?It¡¯s an old radio shack 3 amp supply. ?Just make sure your power supply is 12 volts max, to keep the radio from overheating.
