(fsk/ptt/cat/cw). the sound card is identified, I tried the 3 possibilities. I tried the cat with hamlib and rigcat. fsk modem I give it the fsk port. Anyone have any idea?? 73 f5ind chris Jean-Christophe BARB?RA |
开云体育Hi Chris, I am not a developer, but I will give you a possibility. I am not familiar with your interface, but if you are running FSK for RTTY, then there is a chance that your FSK port has gotten corrupted with its association with Windows. I have had this same problem, but with a different interface. While I do not use Fldigi for RTTY, I use N1MM Logger, my solution is to 1) Shut down the RTTY program, in your case
Fldigi 2) Go into Device Manager and find your FSK port 3) Uninstall your FSK port, BUT do NOT delete the driver 4) Click OK to confirm that you want to uninstall the FSK port. 5) Go to the top of the Device Manager and click on Action 6) Click on Scan for hardware changes. The computer should find your FSK port automatically and re-install it. In my case this solved the problem. With practice, you should be able to do this in less than a minute when the problem occurs. 73 de WA3ZSC - Jerry

开云体育Okay Jerry. I understand the procedure. I didn't think so. I'll try it and give you feedback. Because I can't think of any further research. I think I've covered all the important points. Sound card, sound settings, up-to-date driver, and the various settings in the software. 73 chris f5ind. 开云体育Hi Chris,
OK. Sorry about that.... have you
checked to make sure that Windows has not powered down your USB
ports?
Check in Control Panel, Power Options.
Make sure that the computer is not shutting down anything to save
power, and make sure that nothing is going into Hibernation or
Sleep....? all these things seem to be a problem.
Also check in Device manager, check
every USB device, Hubs included, and make sure that Windows cannot
shut down the USB devices to save power.
Actually, check everything in Device
Manager, even if it seems unrelated.
Also, make sure that the computer is
not set to shut down any of your displays. HDMI audio for your
display, going to sleep also causes problems.
?
Best of luck.

This configuration (icom7700 and interface rigexpert) works perfectly with three other software programs (logger32/n1mm and 2tone/ and mmtty). This would make me think more of a problem between FLDIGI and the RIGEXPERTti5000 interface. Do you think the ports would only be default with FLDIGI, and not with the others? 73 chris Jean-Christophe BARB?RA Le 13 mars 2025 à 20:43, gksmith_1 via groups.io <gksmith_1@...> a écrit : |
