OK I got it working.? The Baud rate had to be set at 38400.? It works on that rate but would not work at 9600 even if the rig were set there as well.

Frustrating remembering this stuff after you have slept for years.? LOL

The FT 450D still wont put out much power no matter what the power level is set at.? I may have to send it for some repair.
