Flirig stopped working with my FT991A after installing the latest fldigi software

A couple of days ago, I downloaded the latest FLDIGI program, and after attempting to run it, my FLRIG software stopped recognizing the FT991A transceiver. ?I had previously used FLRIG with the FT991A by selecting?the FT991 rig instead of the FT991A, which never worked. I have reinstalled?all the pertinent drivers, and I can now run WSJTX?successfully by choosing the FT991 transceiver directly.??
Has anyone else encountered this issue before, and has there been any successful solutions?? I own numerous transceivers, and while FLRIG has had problems with several of these units, I've always managed?to get the software working.? I'm looking forward to hearing back from you.
