Bonjour Olirobin, Thank you very much, that screenshot was very helpful! En fait, il y a un truc...! If you look at your image previews, the images are NOT stored as INDIVIDUAL files but as a very high COMBINATION (one below the other) of all received images until the max. line number is reached or your PC memory is overloaded (I assume). This is what I had feared (or hoped) it would be. FLdigi normally detects the start of every new image and the receives as follows: 1. For a few seconds, the FAX station sends a standardardized multi-tone signal allowing auto-reception. 2. Then quite typical 0.5 second phasing tones (beeps) begin to properly synchronize and align the image. 3. As soon as phasing is finished, the actual image reception begins: FLdigi clears the screen and draws the image, from the ver top, line by line onto the screen... 4. Image reception continues until the end signal (another standard multi-tone 'buzz') is received. 5. Usually, this end signal triggers auto-saving this single image (roughly in the dimensions I had mentioned or whatever the current image has). 6. After saving, FLdigi is getting ready to receive a new image, just the same way. It is not normal (intentional) to receive multiple images all appended below each other. This only makes sense if reception is too poor for the auto-tones to be reliably detected and evaluated. Please see my annotated copy of your screenshot... Could you please make a screenshot of your FLdig screen in WEFAX mode, so that all the buttons and their settings are visible? If you have activated the 'Cont' Button, this may cause such a behavior, I think... If so, please uncheck [ décocher !] this button and try again. Hello Olirobin, It is certainly a good idea to repeat the test using the latest stable version 4.2.06. Also, are all the images received during the 2 h properly stored as individual files? There is a maximum number of lines for a single image, and I try to find out, whether FLdigi recognizes and activates start-stop per image. This works fine in normal mode but it does not in 'reeverse' mode, with a white on black color output. That is why I have asked about whether all individual images are actually stored as such. An image usually is about 1300x1810 pixels, but some larger maps can be about 2400x1810 in size. Never should images usually exceed 3000 (abs. limit: 5000) lines. Please advise... 73s Tobias .-.-. During the 2 hours before it stops, are all images correctly received and saved (incl. the very last received one)? 2. Does it stop in mid-image or during another phase? 3. When FLdigi stops, is the software completely locked (e.g. no more waterfall updates), or is just the image decoding stopped (and other modes still work)? 4. When FLdigi is stopped (e.g. via the Windows Task Manager), and restarted, does everything work again (for 2 more hours)?
