The meters dialog is brought up with the Config/UI setting as in the screenshot below, however it is not a setting that should stick. Closing the dialog should close it and next time it should not come up on its own. You might have a corrupted configuration file. To test that go to C:\Users\<login-name>\flrig.files\ directory and rename the ts590sg.prefs file to something else and resetup the config. See if that makes any difference.

But the meter on my radio is in clear view so I don't really use the FLRIG meters. I don't know why they started showing up every time I run FLRIG.. I don't see any intuitive way to turn them off. I just click the x in the upper right of the meter box every time.
