Resource for finding the Proper Parts per Year? 3
Is there a resource / website guide that can help with finding the original parts for each year of Willys? In this case I'm looking for a 12 Volt Speedo cluster for a 57 Wagon. I can find the after market ones on Kaisers or Walcks but, like a lot of after market stuff they look (and often are) cheaply made. Thanks

PLEASE READ: RE: OLIVE Willys Cap 3
Due to the un-availability of the original colored olive color hat I was given the option of waiting another 4 weeks for a shipment to arrive or going with a different olive. So I choose to go with the slighter darker olive as seen here, more like an Army olive. Hopefully this is acceptable. Unfortunately I am not going to reorder and go through all this insanity again to get the original olive hah. SO.. If this is unacceptable PLEASE let me know immediately and I will refund the money. I was planning on shipping tomorrow.... Sorry for any inconvenience. Thanks.

BEHOLD WILLYS CAPS! (PIC) - SHIPPING MONDAY 6
Just picked them up from UPS holding facility. They are just awesome! I have some extras just not sure in what color so I am holding on taking any more orders for now. My weekend is going to be about stuffing envelops and labeling them for Monday shipping. Might have to do this in two batches, its a little time consuming. Rather than all individually I'll probably send one email with first name, last initial and all the tracking numbers.

Spongy Brakes: PUN 10
PUN: Pavel up North Aging has likely dulled my memory and I seem to recall that several years ago you had a humorous and sometimes biting exchange with Dr. Vern about the "spongy" brakes on your Willys Wagon. Did that problem get resolved?

Donations for Groups.io conversion fee 2
Thanks to Don Norris for his donation. I'm thanking him here because that name does not appear in the membership directory-maybe- there is a bnorris there, maybe that's your address, Don. Membership is now about 3200 after quite a few leaves, and some new members, or people that changed email addresses. Googling Willystech now goes to the parts board, which is still operating, and to the groups.io address. The Yahoo group is still there; I changed the verbiage to say we'd moved. Yeah.. I made the mistake of buying from MT OVERLAND once... got the front add-on brush bumper part from him. It was not only rusty but in so bad repair ¨Ca bolt hole essentially had to be totally reconstructed before stripping and re-chroming it... I easily spent over two 2K on THAT mistake. Never again if I can help it. Might have one extra yellow now. Not sure of the color count. But it¡¯s yours.. Trying to get 4 more yellow and 4 more blue but the production might have already ceased. Stay tuned!

Where to find Speedo cluster for 57 Willys?
Hi.. Looks like Walcks is out of their after market Speedo cluster as seen here: https://walcks4wd.com/speedometer-assembly-aftermark.html It's a bit pricey. Any idea where I can find either the original cluster or one like this to replace mine?

4 speed "update" in '65 Willys wagon. 8
I hesitate to start this topic because it may not be worth it. But, for those who enjoy challenge, here is my (successful) attempt to install a T19 all synchro 4 speed in our Tornado-engined wagon. The results are pleasing, except for the pocket book. http://pavelsuniverse.com/willys/transmission.html

WILLYS CAP UPDATE! - IT'S ON! :) 8
Thanks for those that have Paypal-ed the money. Happy to announce that enough caps have sold now that I can actually commit to placing the order on Monday. At least I¡¯ll break even. Not sure the turn around time of the Embroider but if it¡¯s like last time should be ready within the week. So it¡¯s safe to say you can expect them just after Christmas. I will announce when I get them with pictures All the ebst, Marc W.

From the bureaucrat
First, a test to see if the pictures are bigger. This is of my wagon's first paint job in 1972. My friend Mike, pictured, ran the gun; I picked the pine needles out of the paint as we went. I think, by this time, the engine had endured a shade tree overhaul, and no longer burned a quart of oil every 60 miles, as it did when purchased- for $200. Of note, if you want to post several pictures, you can upload them to an album, and then send a link to the album in an email message to the group, if you want. Also, pictures attached to messages are included in the first album if you want to look at them again. Second, working on turning off emails from the old system. Third, still looking for additional moderators or "owners". The job, primarily, is to review and approve the first message from a new members, and to deal with anything excessively weird that comes up. I'm a single point of failure at the moment. COLOR TALLY POLL -- PICK YOUR HAT COLOR HERE PLEASE 3 #poll
Ok.. while we¡¯re still a bit away from the minimum order of 30 (I think we¡¯re at like 24) ¨CI talked the owner into an agreement that he charges more per cap and I only have to buy 30 of them INSTEAD OF 48. So I guess the best way to work this is if you still want a cap you can paypal to my email address $26. + 4.50 shipping. If you¡¯re buying two add another $1.00 for shipping. I haven¡¯t factored in the cost of padded packing envelops but can¡¯t be that much. I have to order them yet..... I need OVER half the orders/$ in before I foot the rest (on a hope that those who committed to ordering actually DO follow thru...) IMPORTANT ¨CMAKE SURE YOU PLEASE TELL ME YOUR COLOR CHOICE AGAIN IN YOUR PAYPAL NOTE ALONG WITH YOUR MAILING ADDRESS!!!! If you¡¯d prefer to mail the check please understand I have to deposit that and wait till it clears before sending your cap. Shoot me a message and I¡¯ll send you my physical address. I will do my BEST or fulfill the colors you want of the most popular Black, Olive, Khaki and Yellow. The more orders paid with color choices the accurate I can order all of them. I¡¯ll keep y¡¯all posted.

truck wiper system 9
Hi All, Quick question on my wipers. I have replaced the vacuum motor with an electric one. Works fine. My driver side is dead, worn out at the wiper connection. Carl Walck sent me an original replacement with the cables attached. How involved/difficult is this to replace ? Thanks. Cory in NY '51 pick up.

Weber 32/36 DGV 2
I've seen the kits on Weber website for the 32/36 DGV carburator conversion for 134 engines. The Carter YF is notorious for over fueling and fouling plugs. Yes I rebuilt it. Wondering if a few of you have made this conversion, and what your opinions of it are. I just happen to have one of these carbs taken off of a Triumph Spitfire when I installed dual SU's. Wondering if installing it on the Willys is worthwhile. Curt 1960 WO Maverick Sent from beautiful Bessemer City

Photos 2
I've completed the upload of 156 albums. I processed large files with this site/application: bulkresizephotos.com/. With it, I was able to shrink 2-5Mb files down to 240Kb or so. All of the albums now use 66 Mb of space. We are trying to stay below 1Gb of storage, so we (may) have the option of a free group for the year beginning next December. The pictures show quite a bit of major surgery performed without anesthetics. Lots of interesting and odd stuff. If you poke around in the files (not the photos), there are diagrams for cutting the wood strips for the wagons, and for making a glove compartment box, too. Right now, photos are not allowed in the files directory, likely will change this setting. I reset the size for attachments back up, so the next time Dr. Vern sends a selfie, you'll be able to see the details. The system puts all of the attachments into the first album displayed when one goes to the albums section on the groups.io website. If I've missed any messages or doing/fixing something, remind me again. I think the work of the move is complete, always room for cleanup. Dan Mulholland Moderator
