Resource for finding the Proper Parts per Year?
Is there a resource / website guide that can help with finding the original parts for each year of Willys?
In this case I'm looking for a 12 Volt Speedo cluster for a 57 Wagon. I can find the after market ones on Kaisers or Walcks but, like a lot of after market stuff they look (and often are) cheaply made. Thanks |

I know of no such site - after all, finding "original" NOS parts must be pretty rarefied for these old vehicles.? If the speedo cluster in your '57 is like the one in our '65, then Kaiser Willys sells a new copy that's not been too bad (I got ours from Walcks some 7 years ago but? he may no longer offer the Taiwanese reproduction).? The Kaiser Willys one comes with 'modern' stepper motor based fuel and temperature gauges that seem to work fine. Both these gauges work at 12 volts with no step-down to 5V regulator involved.
Cheers, Pavel up north. |
