Hello, I am installing my wiring harness and getting the ground straps in place. I have run my negative battery cable directly to a starter mounting bolt as per a Dr. Vern modifcation that I saw here

Re: [WT] Shells and Campers for Willys Pickups
The low sides of the bed make it look like it should take a special camper but any slide in for a full size pickup will fit. I used an 8' slide in that had been used in a 58 Ford. When I sold it the

Re: Another OT
Congratulations Grandpa John! Is this your first? Wave to the North when you get into WA. You are arriving in the rainy season, but I'm sure you will have things to keep you from noticing the weather.

Re: [WT] L6-161 Lightning Motor Question...
I'll second not to use an easy out, if the bolt is really stuck its too easy to break one, and that causes all kinds of hurt! If there is a little bit sticking out you might try taking a nut put it

Re: Shells and Campers for Willys Pickups
That's a tough one. the bed on these trucks is rather narrow and long. I know nissan used to sell a longbed version of their truck. Perhaps that one would have similar dimensions. Does any one know

Re: [WT] L6-161 Lightning Motor Question...
I would be very reluctant to use an easy out having seen too many broken off easy outs stuck in the middle of bolts. The easy out is hardened steel and almost impossible to drill out. If the bolt

Re: [WT] Home made dry sump system for an F Head ?
That is how a dry sump system works. I would think you have plenty of room in the oil pan for the scavenger pump, but where would run the line from the oil tank back to the engine? My Porsche 911 uses
