Re: Alternator
I'm going to say maybe!? The Ammeter doesn't care about voltage, however what is the current range, for example if you have a 30 amp ammeter AND a 30 amp alternator, yes, if for instance you have the

Re: Engine Cooling
I agree with John. My pusher is barely OK uphill in summer. Hope you are doing OK John. Nothing beats an engine driven fan, but no room. Pruit

Re: Engine Cooling
I use an aluminum Jegs cross flow radiator with an electric puller fan and 180 degree thermostat. I have the fan set to turn on at 210 degrees and off at 180. It always runs in the 180-210 range even

Re: Alternator
On our late model wagon, the "One wire" alternator, goes to the starter solenoid terminal that also has a wire directly to the positive of the battery and another wire going to the firewall. Pun.

Re: Exhaust manifold on the fhead 4
Pavel, A belt sander would be great for this, I think. The one I have is too short to reach the ends of the manifold, and in the "don't really screw it up" department, hand sanding allowed me to

Re: Exhaust manifold on the fhead 4
Dan, It's good to hear you repaired your old manifold yourself. I had the same problem with an exhaust casting (just one side for some reason) on our '76 F250 with the huge 460 engine.? The casting
