Mikes carburetor shop

Adding to Richard's message, Mike's has kits for the variations? in the Carter YF,? good quality.? They also have videos walking through the rebuilt/ repair process.? In? my case, via email? he helped troubleshoot problems.? Which are/were-vacuum leaks in wrong places, like the top piece- the potmetal piece- of the carb.? The other problem- also vacuum- is the main shaft- either excessive shaft wear or the holes/bore is worn.?

received fine thanks. Will pack and put in the post. Don’t expect it in a hurry – with Covid19 the post has been terribly slow – often takes several weeks before NZPost can get space on a plane….

I do regret (sometimes) selling my 1951, but it didn’t get much use and I had too many other cars! I bought it on a whim at an auction in 2010 and sold it on 2019…..most of my other cars are Minis (or Moke) so that at least the mechanicals are the same which makes it easier for spares and tools. The Willys was a real orphan here in NZ! (it went to Australia after I sold it).

New project

开云体育

Fellow Willystech members,

Looking for a few parts for my new wagon project, got a good deal on it:

Actually, this is an exciting "garden art" project; it includes a unique, carefully balanced and engineered? pivoting system consisting of bolts attaching the hood to rusty old plumbing pipe, secured to the ground with a maul.? The pivoting system allows the covered area to be accessed from above, acting just like a hood. ? Adding a bumper and front fenders would lend authenticity, but would sacrifice the storage area and convenient access.

It appears that the wagon has misaligned eyes.

That's what we do when the leaves are coming down in Oregon.
