As I understand it, the bolt pattern for the Saginaw manual and power steering boxes are the same so you can change from one type to the other if wanted.? When sourcing a Sag box, of course, it's advisable to get one with a slower ratio - the 3 bolt Cherokee unit I got gave about 4-1/4 turns lock to lock - similar to the Ross original.
