Re: [WT] The story of Jeep Thursday 9/27/07 at 8:00pm Eastern Time on PBS

Ric,

I emailed our local PBS station in Dayton, OH and they responded with
the times. Looks like late November for us.

If you are outside Ohio, it will be a while before you can see,
"Jeep: Steel Soldier" on your local PBS station. It was produced by
WGTE Toledo as part of an Ohio PBS effort to make documentaries on
Ohio WWII topics to compliment the Ken Burns "The War" series. It
will run first at all the Ohio PBS stations. Makes sense. Jeep is
about as Ohio as it gets, especially for a Toledo station. I was
told
that other PBS stations around the country may pick it up as they
choose.

Shortly after it airs, I don't know how shortly, they will start
selling DVDs which can be purchased from the station (wgte.org) and
likely from the main PBS site as well at some point.

I hesitate to review something I was involved with, but I think it
hits the mark. Accurate, just the right amount of enthusiasm, a
fair
shake for each of the three companies that helped develop the
quarter-
ton and some pictures and footage you may not have seen.
