I use Team Viewer from my laptop and phone, and it has helped me a lot. A notification of the system failure would not help me much as I check the system at least daily via TV.

My main problem is knowing if my radio is happy, is the voltage OK, Is the antennae OK etc, and for that I am working on setting up some old data logging software and hardware, so I can see SWR, Battery Voltage, current used by the radio and Mains power (often off here). I hope to be able to then see what is happening on the station via the PC and T.V.

I use Team Viewer all the time to check on both my HF RMS Army MARS Hybrid station and my HAM VHF packet station.? It free for personal use and it had saved me several times on one of the stations.? If there is a problems you can reboot your system and? your up and running again.??I had to do a little set up on both my systems, but it's not rocket science and easy to do.

By using both RMS Analyzer and the RMS Trimode software it is easy to monitor you station (s).?

If not done upon failure with Trimode, don't waste time.

Managing 5 gateways via Team Viewer, such a feature would be cool.

I’m not sure this would be a good idea.

Seems to me that a weekly email from RMS Analyzer would still allow the RMS to be running up to a week before you would realize it was not working (correctly). Isn’t it possible to glance at the screen every so often? Perhaps you are not often at the console, in which case would a remote monitor like Team Viewer provide you with immediate information? Being isolated from your RMS operation for such long periods does not ensure reliable service to your clients and may indeed be illegal in some countries.
