Our next contra dance will be this Friday, October 18 at the Channing-Murray Foundation. The band will be The Young and the Fretless with Tom Bassett, Lyle Konigsberg, Rolf Pendal and Rebecca Grosser. I will be the caller for the evening. As usual there will be a short introduction to contra dance at 7:30 and the dance will start at 8. Bring your friends to join in the fun and snacks to share at the break.
The dance on Friday is being sponsored by Bert Stunkard for his birthday. This will be Stunkie's Free-Fall Free-for-All, with FREE admission to a dance for Bert Stunkard's Bert-day. So eveyone should come and wish Bert a happy birthday.
