You know I think you may be right. However, the better half wants the tanks
and what the heck its only money. I know you are right, in the old days we
had a class A that only took a couple of showers to fill up. Ho Hum, so it
goes. -=dr=-

Well gang this is how it goes when your holding tanks are-a-goner!!
About $800-$1000 big ones, now you need to understand this also
includes a new toilet and a new main gas valve [it is unsafe will not
shut off completely]. I posted a message on a gas smell before, and
thank God you suggested I go have it checked out, could of been
sitting on a time bomb! The group comes through again - "Thanks".

The tough part is to find just the right tanks that will fit, and
since it is plumbing [and I do nothing at all with plumbing} this
price includes all installation as well. So before we even take her
on our first Cruise we are paying - so it goes, you see I hate going
to those community showers. -=dr=-

Dick.

I've been camping ever since I was a kid (Many years).

My wife and I have owned many Rv's. From tents, VW micros
in the 60s-70s, to travel trailers and MH's. Here it what
we found:

The key to fun is to keep your rig simple.

Nether the fresh water holding tank or the black water
tank will hold enough to work on any stay in the
boondocks over two days. If you plan to only use sites
where you can have full hook up, you don't need the tanks.

Taking one, or two quick showers will fill the gray
water tank, and you will have to move the rig to find a
find a dump site.

We don't use the tanks, except the valved gray water tank.
We carry our water in separate containers so there no need
to move the rig to refill the too small water tank. And of
course we don't have to deal with that nasty Black water
problem ever, as we carry bikes and use the CG facilities.

So think about taking a trip or two before you invest in tanks.
you may find you don't want the hassle.
