I can say it seems like a pretty good deal based on the fact that Farmers
Insurance Company has offered me $6745 for my 84 that was totaled. And that
all the 86s I have seen have the 1ton floating axle and are fuel injected
and that a rig that is fiberglass that has always been stored inside often
looks brand new. The latest one I bought did. Note in the add that the price
is $6900 slash ofr. Indicating the price is not firm. The axle would
ofcource would have to be examined and everything checked out but I dispute
your claim that the going price for low milage fuel injected 1986 Sunraders
that have been owned by one owner and stored indoors is $4,900. I stand by
my first post that this sounds like a good deal.
I'd go buy it myself if I didn't already have an 88 and the 84.

How can you say "Its a pretty good deal".
86 Sunraders are worth 5k. A little more for killer
clean. If they don't have the good axle, $2,500 -
3,000. All above a lot less if you hear the timing
chain rattle on start up.
IMO we should not mis-lead our newcomers. We have seen,
right on this list, a lot of real nice rigs purchased
for under 5k.
