Recently bought a 1982 Toyota Sandtana with about 100,000 miles on it. We
are in love with it and have fondly nicknamed it "Carlos." It's in pretty
good condition, we test drove it on a Portland - California weekender and
it did great.
We will set out on the great American road trip this summer and would love
to hear any advice and tips on types of things we may want to do/check
before we take off to make Carlos more dependable and comfy.
Also, we have a "welded propane tank" and no propane tank experience or
knowledge. We are told this type of tank is not legal and that it will be
difficult to get it filled. We are not sure what to do about it and we
want to research its safety or lack thereof. Has anyone dealt with a
similar issue?
Thanks!
