there is no reason this should not be done. sounds like a plan. I don't know
too many who crawl through between the seats anyway.

Subject: [toyota-campers] Re: Baby Seat Safety
Hi, I'm also interested in putting a baby's seat in a Toyota
motorhome. Has anyone ever heard of installing an additional
set of seat belts right behind and between the two front seats to
buckle down a carseat? I think if properly done it would be
better than having the child in the back. Looking for comments.

Hello All,
We have a 21'ft Granville with a couch that runs along the side
directly behind the drivers seat and a captain's chair behind the
passenger's seat. There are instructions on the captain's
chair that
say "Do not occupy this seat when the RV is in motion" and yet
there
is a safety belt....???
Does anybody know if it is safe to put a baby in a baby's seat
and
attach it to the couch while we drive the RV??
Thanks in advance,
Owen & Amy
