Looking for redwork halloween designs
Deb Richey
I am looking for redwork Halloween designs - I know I am a little out of
season - I don't want to spend a ton of money and have already checked out emblibrary and also annthegran... and am considering stuff from both sites. Anyone out here know of other redwork halloween designs that aren't mega expensive? (I don't consider the emblibrary's ones mega expensive but I have seen sites that charge like $40 for a set of designs and that is not in my purchasing power right now for one project!) I will start sewing out tomorrow so I would love a little direction on some other possibilities! Thanks Deb |
Re: How do I make a magnet from an embroidery design?
Audrey
I was thinking maybe you could stitch it on some felt and then trim
around it maybe leaving a 1/4" border around it and then glue a magnet to the back. I know on embroidery garden she has some magnets. Maybe there is something there that can help you. www.embroiderygarden.com Good luck! |
Re: Warning - Found virus in a freebie embroidery file tonight
Lucille Rhoads
Thank you for the warning. Because that is what happened to me several weeks ago. I was lucky because my son is an IT tech and fixed my computer. These viruses are very vicious and you can lose everything if you download them. One sat in my files for weeks and then out of curiousity I saved it and it was a virus. It took several weeks for it to completely wipe out my files and also my registry. It looks just like an embroidery design. The catch is that it won't open, you have to save the attachment for it to get you. I don't remember the name of the file but is was a hus file when it hit me. I think that whoever is doing this is determined to wipe out everyone that downloads embroidery designs. This isn't a joke, it is very real and can cause you to lose all of your files. Also, this virus came through several different sites. It wasn't limited to one certain site. I have received it more than once and have tried to warn everyone. Some don't take me seriously but once you get hit you will. If you get anything that won't open up when you click on it, DON'T SAVE IT. IT IS A VIRUS.

Give Embird a shot. You can download the free working demo at www.embird.com. The font engine portion of the demo will only allow a few letters in the alphabet but you can see how it works. As far as resize, merging color changing etc for the money Embird can't be beat. You'll love the Iconizer. After buying the basic program, when you can afford it you can buy differnt add ons. File - Birthday Club Information
Attention: All New Members
To join our birthday group, we have one group for each month, these are closed groups, the only way you can join them is to receive an invitation from us if you want to be in the Birthday Club. IF YOU ARE NOT SURE YOU ARE A MEMBER PLEASE CHECK YOUR GROUPS, DO NOT TRY TO JOIN MORE THAN ONCE, WE HAVE BEEN GETTING MULTIPLE REQUESTS, THIS IS VERY TIME CONSUMING....THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION!!!! Also, you have to have your setting set to accept inviations, we have had a couple of emails returned stating that you do not accept invitations, you can not join if you can't recieve the invitation. The Birthday Club, is a no email club, the only email you will recieve is from one of the moderators, so do worry about too much mail, the most you will recieve is one a month (which is required by Yahoo to keep the group open) To sign up for the birthday group, send your birthday and email to the any of the following emails: sassy63@... cloudkat@... You will receive an email explaining how to enter your birthday into the calendar, we do NOT do this for you, you have to do it yourself. Now, if you have any other questions, or you accidently get invited 2 or 3 times, please excuse our mistake, we are doing the best that we can do, we are hard at work to get these set up for you so that you have the birthday club running smoothly again. Thanks for you patience and cooperation, remember we have over 9,400 members, so this will be a very timely job for us. Thanks Sue HOE's Group Moderator: Need Yours Scissors Sharpened go to: |

Sue:
A .rar file is a compressed file similar to .zip. You can download WinRar, a program for uncompressing rar files here: I think it is shareware. Vicky "croknitsewfab1" <sue-parker@...> wrote: Futura software or my PED software.
