Re: Older SoftRock Kits Available

Robin Midgett

Thanks Jim...I might put my SoftRock proceeds toward one of those.

Thanks,

With the waning availability the Softrock kits, I would like to alert the
group to a Softrock replacement.

The HobbyPCB RS-HFIQ.

It covers 80-10M, including WARC bands, has 5W output on TX comes fully
assembled and tested, interfaces to PCs and Raspberry PIs much the same way
the Sofrock does.

While it's a little more expensive than a single Softrock, it's about the
same if you buy enough Softrock's to match the capability.

Technical info here:

The project tarted as a Kiskstarter Campaign on 2017 and has developed a
substantial user base.
