It may well be that you can just build it and be done. It depends on how picky you are about the results. I built many filters before I had an LCR meter. After getting the meter, I won't ever go back.
I was picky on my BC reject filters because I wanted to avoid attenuating signals just below 530Khz unnecessarily while knocking down signals above 530Khz as much as possible for my NDB hobby. There used to be several NDBs up near 530Khz. They are disappearing but we still have ADK on 530Khz in Alaska.

Interesting note about LCR meters. No, I don't have one. I was under the impression that just building the filter would be sufficient. If the calculations the filter software produced are only approximate anyway, I wouldn't think the meter would help anyway. Just a guess. On the other hand, I have an old Heathkit grid dip meter. I suppose I could use that and calculate using LC combination.
