But, this is the first time I've seen the offer and I've been a
pretty avid reader of the SDR and related groups.

Hey Tony, what a great idea!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You could do it for the other kits as well and make a full time
occupation of it, not sure if it pays well enough. But, with a
production line and a solder paste/toaster oven soldering unit and a
custom solder mask, you could put out some semi large quantities in a
short period of time.
