Today finishes off the last Friday we will see this year and only two more days until the whole year will be done.
I don't know about all y'all, but as I get older these years seem to get shorter.
An old friend up in New Jersey once told me that life is like a roll of toilet paper, the closer to the end you get, the faster it goes.
I'm not at the end of that roll by any means but somehow, I just don't worry about the days and years very much.
I'm grateful for the many friends that I have, such as all the classmates from San Jacinto Elementary, Washington Junior High, Edison Junior High and Central High School. And, even more grateful for all the years we have shared that friendship
and all the years we can look forward to.
I guess what I am trying to say is Thank You for being a friend and wishing you a Happy New Year.
Take especially good care of yourselves and stay warm.
