NHRC-2
After seeing a post a few days ago I have looked into the NHRC-2..
I was just wondering if anyone is currently using it, and how well does it
work?
Please send any comments!
Thanks,
Chris

Sorry for all of the duplicates of yesterdays message. I was showing my
wife how to edit an existing message as new and inadvertently hit send.
My apologies...

Re: Duplexer Tuning
The thing to remember is that when tuning with a MFJ 259B antenna analyzer,
the power used in tuning is very low a few milliwats, this gives a better tune
than when say 10 watts or more is

Re: Johnson CR 1100 VHF repeater
I also repair EF Johnson radios. This unit is a work horse. I would take
the CR1100 over any Motorola repeater. The Jonhson is not state of the art,
but Johnson has taken K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple

Been following this tread for awhile and noticed that some folks are using

Re: Johnson CR 1100 VHF repeater
You can't just tune a Johnson radio.
Parts must be replaced.
It is a bit of work, but well worth it.
I repair Johnson radios / repeaters for a living.
You can get a service manual from E F Johnson

Re: Duplexer Tuning
Garry,
Tuning the BANDPASS for minimum SWR is the way to go. This method will
also compensate (at least partly) for antenna SWR.
This method is also much more sensitive than trying to peak a signal
