According to a table I have on my web site, the 33 indicated 42-50 Mhz. So it isn't speced for 6m, but it's real close. I would think the lower in the 6m band the better. The 6 should indicate

get a couple of gel cell batteries and a solar panel to keep them charged. look into what it would take to get power to the site. it is going to be a bear without commercial power...good luck ed
